Yetkin Geçer He completed his studies in law at the Universities of Mainz, Lausanne and Göttingen. After internships in Germany, Switzerland and South Africa, Advocate Gecer was working in internationally-oriented law firms in the fields of commercial law in Frankfurt and Zurich. He is a lawyer since 2006. At the University of Applied Science of Lucerne, he graduated in May 2011 at the Competence Center Forensics and Economic Criminology (CCFW) a master's degree in Economic Crime Investigations. Advocate Gecer is one of the founding members and president of the Swiss-Turkish Lawyers and Jurists Association in Fribourg. He is member of the Frankfurt Bar Chamber as well as of the Swiss and Lucerne Bar Association. Since February 2011 he is a board member of the Belgium-based international organization, European Association of Turkish Lawyers (EATL). He is also a legal advisor and board member of the women's football club FCL Luzern Frauen. He is a member of the Swiss Experts in Economic Crime Investigation based in Lucerne and Neuchâtel (SEECI) Advocate Gecer is accredited as a lawyer both in the European Union and in Switzerland. He speaks German, English, French and Turkish. |
